An amateur journey of digital recording
2010 World Community Conference
Each year, Earth Expeditions holds a World Community Conference at the Cincinnati Zoo. This year, I was able to photograph and video the event. The difference this day was I only brought my Canon 7D. I used two lenses (50mm f1.8 and my 28-135mm f3.5-5.6) I edited the video using iMovie 09. iMovie works rather well for a simple movie editor. I as able to add music and do a little editing. I was really surprised how well the Canon 7D dealt with the indoor lighting. Although I could definitely tell the difference using my prime lens versus the zoom.
Check out the video I posted on our Project Dragonfly YouTube Channel
I used a combination of tripod (for the presenters and hand held for the hallway shots.
Let me know what you think.
