Here is photo #8 for the 365 Picture Project. One picture a day for a year.
This photo was taken in the San Gregorio desert in Baja California. Like is grandmother, Rafael is a medicine man to his local community. Using herbs and plants unique to the surrounding area, he claims to have cure for most ailments. On of our party got the stomach flu from drinking the water. His herbal tea fixed her in a day.
